anyone sure of what exactly needs to be done other than run the hb top hats. im under going the conversion in the next couple of weeks and jsut thoguht id get some insight. i know they go straight into hc however

For starters I can tell you the front top hats have the wrong PCD and don't fit.

From left to right...

S4 front standard
HB Cosmo fron standard
S4/5 Tein HA adjustable, standard

Big difference in height ahe!!

The height of the bottom spring cradle worries me tho, would have to run small tires or a crazy offset surely?

A 17x7" FWD offset rim fouls against the spring keeper on the Tein, need a 5mm spacer... (for reference)

yeah i see what you mean...  hmmmm have you had em in yet? should be interesting running 17x7 with 42 offset. only one way to find out i guess

S4 again haha!! Won't have a problem with offset's there, so just a matter of top hats fitting and it being low enough ;)

I had series 4 teins in the front of mine for about 20 minutes.

Was way too low. So i took em out and sold em.
Wakefield - 1.15.1:.... worn semis, 13psi, open diff.

Everyone I have heard that has used them has put spacers between the strut top and chassis to lift the front of the car up. I think my car had 50mm clearance under the front subframe with them in wound all the way up?

Yeah, that would work, but im not a fan of using spacers anywhere. HAHAHAHA

I had about the same clearance. While the jack was under the car, both front wheels were about 1" off the ground still. HAHAHA

so was there any conclusion as to weither standard s4 shit will work or not
