dont know whether to remove powersteering alltogether

or space out the powersteering pump more, can only move it over 20 or 30mm

if i did remove power steering what do i do to the rack?? just fill it with fluid and put bolts in the holes??

help would be appreciated/

What is the bracket off? An FD or a JC or something?

You can run a power steering rack with no pump but becauce it is designed to have assistance it will be very hard. Just make sure there is some oil in there and loop the two hose togeather. Might be a good temporary fix.

FC motor and powersteering shit,, think ive sorted the problem, there are metal hoses before the rubber ones so im going to remove the metal hoses and get aftermarket fittings it make enough room for me to space the p/s bracket out 20 mm or so, ill put some pics up soon as

sussed it, need to get longer studs and bolts for the p/s bracket as the original ones arent very long,
that will let me space it out quite a bit (40mm or so) so i have clearance when adjusting the timing

Pics....
see, the vacuum bit on the dizzy hits the p/s bracket, got my lil bro to hold it in place while i took pics, needs to come out about 40mm, now i have to reposition overflow/window washer bottle. but thats easy
