Some serious progress here man! Fun to see the difference in the enginebay over the years(?)  :O Looks like your a good mechanic.

Damn, I wasn't aware of the radiator "problem" if it's mounted low. On mine I've got the radiator really low and I had problems with the FE it wouldn't get properly heated up. It only went like half-way up on the thermometer(40-50'C). Maybe this could be the reason? I hadn't got all the air out?

Anyway, youre doing a great job on your car! :D

The main problem you have with a low mount radiator is over heating from getting air pockets traped in the cooling system. If you were having probs with low coolant temp sounds more like a themostat jamed open?

Anyway just got home, have to go crimp lugs onto battary cable so i can take tool back to autosparky in the morning.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. All starting to come togeather.

It is nice to look back to the start some times as you forget how much work you have really done. =)

Got the battery all hooked up with kill switch. No longer have to get the jumper leads out when i want to play!

Just made a sweet new purchase, a new brain for the 13b a Microtech LT-8s.  =D Got it 2nd hand off trade me. Have to send if off to microtech in aus to be reprogramed to run the 13b then it will be time to wire up. I have download the wiring diagram form the net and looks pretty straight forward.

I also got a mate to make me up a new thermostat housing for the engine to get rid of the big ugly factory one, fitted up with a new thermostat from mazda. The new housing will also make top radiator hose very simple, just a simple 90` hose.

Have removed oil metering pump and oil injectors and now need to make some blanking plate to close off holes. Also need to make blanking plates for rear turbo drain on block and where the air pump valve went on LIM.

Trying to push on now and get on a roll and get in all up and going.  :|
