Sold unfortunately! After 37 years in the family :D
It was worn out though, the engine wasn't running right and I thought this bike should get the threatment it deserves... It's a classic!

It's called a 1970 Tempo Lett Panter 50ccm

Here's a vid of my last kickstart with it :( :

It was fun as long it lasted... I remember drifting on the snow when I was younger, prolly like 14-15 years old.

I love the snow!

When are you allowed to ride the biggest bikes in NZ and Australia? In Norway we have rules like this:

When 16years old: Either moped 50ccm or 125ccm
When 18: 125 or 450(I think)
When 21: All enginesizes

my grandfather sold his old BMW 500cc single cyl, not long ago,
He bought it unseen and thought it was a twin.....
It pissed him off so much he left it in the shed for 40+yrs,
the bastard sold it, knowing I wanted it!!!
I think he didnt want me wasting my money on it!!!!!

In Aust:
upto 50cc requires any Drivers License permit minimum age 16

above 50cc requires a Motorcycle permit minimum age 16
to obtain:
Motorcycle [L] Learners permit
must be a maximum 250cc
*but some larger cc bikes OK due to a low power output
must be minimum 16yrs age
must stay on [L] Learners permit for minimum 6 months
must pass rider safety training course to obtain [P] Probational License

[P] Probational License for 2yrs ,maximum 250cc*
after 2 years of [P] Probation Full [M] License terms apply

[M] Motorcycle License is open engine capacity and open power outputs
at 19 you can have full [M] license
even if your 35 and want to buy a bike you cant ride a 600 until off [P] probation
most of my friends just ride anything when on [P] probation
the fine is very small $80.00 i think....
